The Program - Overview

H.E.R.O. - Making Good Choices

The H.E.R.O. program is specifically designed to introduce children and young teens to a series of "steps" to follow in order to achieve moral and ethical excellence. Now that I have entered my teens, I feel it is important to share some guidelines that will encourage positive attitudes, goal setting and making the right choices in every situation.

Just like any other teenager, I was faced with choices in my early teen years that may well have set the course for the rest of my life. Young teens in junior high often find themselves overwhelmed by the pressure of making so many decisions. Many teens are unprepared to make these choices and as a result, have difficult teen years. Thanks to a strong support system, I was empowered to make good choices at an early age. This helped me to avoid the pitfalls I witnessed others tumble into. It is so important to prepare for your teens before you get there. This is the reason that I have created my platform, H.E.R.O. - Making Good Choices.

With proper guidance and dedicated focus, I believe young people can soar through their teens. Education includes so much more than just what happens in class. Many elements combine to shape a child’s character. I am committed to mentoring children, challenging them to be all they can be, helping them make good choices and preparing them to soar through their teen years. This will allow them to move on to adulthood with a strong foundation. I am available to present my platform to upper and lower elementary students. The program is designed for the two different age groups and customized for each of the different age groups so they can understand and feel inspired. I have presented these programs to students in the schools within the Brookhaven area and to student groups at their club functions.
